Women empowerment activities are now turning out to be nothing but social media charade. All the protests, parades and hash tags have become something that give an ego- boost to the participants and eventually become band wagons for brands to boost their sales. It’s high time we should be doing something real to make women empowerment actually happen, especially in workplaces. Despite of all pompous ‘light and sound’ in social media, women are still being marginalized when it comes to a professional settings like workplace or entrepreneurial arenas.
